Drawing I & II are the introduction to the processes of learning to create & draw with an emphasis on the elements and principles of design. These courses are a complete course on drawing skills and development. The class will culminate in a small animated project with mouth movements and sound. Students will start a few small projects and do a lot of experimenting moving things from shapes to characters. Students will learn about key framing, working backwards, blurring, tweening, anchor points, and understanding motion paths. We will move on to Adobe animate where the majority of the time will be spent. Using Flip-a-clips students will briefly experience drawing animations in a digital setting. In this section we will cover frame rate, composition, ghosting, easing in and out, changing scenes. There is no easier way to get started in animation than the simplicity of small movements and camera clicks. Students will learn the history of animation which mainly consists of Walt Disney’s early life and innovations and later Hayao Miayazaki. **You do not have to know how to draw to take this class** Location: Skyline Family Fellowship Church Mondays and Wednesdays - $560 Per Semester
